Weapons++ is a roguelike where you add a new weapon to your arsenal after every chamber.
7 different weapons and 4 enemy types. How fast can you beat the final boss?
Made in 72 hours for the Mini Jam Game Jam 98 with the theme "Empty" and restriction "Make it a Roguelike"

GAME JAM
A lot of roguelike games have very general, passive items. Get 10% more health, move 8% faster, etc. So when the restriction was announced to be "Make it a Roguelike", a very general restriction, I wanted to make the concept interesting: no passive items. Everything is a new, interactive, responsive weapon you can use. Pair together different weapons and create builds to defeat the final boss.
The .exe was uploaded ~8h before the submission period ended, the WebGL version was uploaded a day later.
(The theme was optional and we didn't have any good ideas for it. I guess "You have to empty the chambers")

Really good game. Wish it was longer and there were more items though.
Amazing simple game. Short and sweet and provides a decent challenge. If this was a full game with more weapons, enemies, and variety it would be amazing. But for 72 hours this is a 10/10 game for me.
